I was born in Nagasaki City, Nagasaki Prefecture. I studied at the Faculty of Science, University of the Ryukyus for my undergraduate degree. For graduate school, I attended the Graduate School of Bioresource and Environmental Sciences at Kyushu University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I worked as a postdoctoral researcher at Kyushu University, Fukuoka University, and Tokyo University of Agriculture and Technology. Since 2021, I have been an assistant professor in the Biochemical Laboratory at the Faculty of Engineering, Shinshu University, on a specific term of employment.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In 2024\u20132025, I served as an assistant professor at the University of Miyazaki. Currently, I am working as a research fellow at the Faculty of Engineering, Shinshu University.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I am currently conducting research at the Faculty of Engineering, Shinshu University, with a focus on materials science.
My primary interest lies in developing new materials derived from biomass, particularly those based on mycelium and cellulose, as part of efforts toward building a sustainable society.
I place great importance on a multifaceted approach, including microstructural analysis and Raman spectroscopy, to deepen our understanding of these materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Driven by a desire to contribute to the growth of local industries, I actively engage in information exchange and collaboration with companies and research institutions both in the region and across Japan.
By listening closely to voices from the field, I strive to carry out research with a clear vision toward practical implementation in society.
Additionally, my research on mycelium-based materials involves international collaborations, particularly with Finland and South Korea.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Inspired by the beauty and functionality found in nature, I aim to act as a bridge between science and society.
Through academia-industry-government collaboration, I hope to create new value for the future together.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
