異動のお知らせです！
3月末で宮崎大学を離職し、4月から信州大学に研究者として戻ることになりました。新しい職位は「マテリアル先端リサーチインフラ 研究員」で、ポスドクに相当するポジションです。
共用機器の管理やデータ解析の支援を担当することになります。以前のように自分の研究に100％集中することはできず、柔軟性もやや限られますが、それでも自身の研究は続けていけます。
ワークライフバランスについてたくさん考えた結果、パートナーや親しい同僚たちと一緒にいられる場所にいることが最優先だと気づきこの決断をいたしました。宮崎に異動後、1年ほど悩み、２月頃に決心したため、急なお知らせで驚かれる方もいるかもしれません。でも今は、この選択に自信を持っています。
宮崎大学の教職員の方々はとても親切で暖かく、たくさん送別会もしていただき大変感謝しています。1年という短い期間でしたが、別れを惜しんでいただきありがたい気持ちでいっぱいです。寂しい気持ちもありますが、新しい環境でじっくりと今後のキャリアについても考えたいと思います。

Hello everyone,
I have an announcement to share with you. At the end of March, I will be leaving the University of Miyazaki and returning to Shinshu University as a researcher starting in April. My new position will be “Material Advanced Research Infrastructure Researcher,” which is equivalent to a postdoctoral role.
I will be responsible for managing shared equipment and supporting data analysis. While I won’t be able to dedicate 100% of my time to my own research as I did before, and my flexibility will be somewhat limited, I still plan to continue my research little by little.
After giving a lot of thought to my work-life balance, I realized that being in a place where I can be with my partner and close colleagues is my top priority. I spent about a year struggling with this decision, and only recently made up my mind, so this may come as a surprise to some of you. But now, I feel confident in the path I’ve chosen.
The faculty and staff at the University of Miyazaki have been incredibly kind and welcoming. I’m especially grateful for the many farewell gatherings they held for me. Although it was only a short year, I feel truly thankful for the warm send-offs and the people who expressed their regret at my leaving. While I do feel a bit sad, I hope to take this opportunity to reflect on my future career in this new environment.
