I’ve been neglecting updates lately.
Here are some events we had with the Izawa Lab in November and December.
(Although I’m the only one, I’m technically representing the Tagawa Lab.)

Hot pot is definitely best enjoyed with a big group!
It tasted so much better than eating alone.

With the third-year students temporarily assigned to the lab, things have become much more lively.

2024年も終わりが近づいてきていますね。
4月に宮崎大学に異動し、大規模改修工事に伴う研究室の移動も重なったため、新しい環境に慣れるまで少し時間がかかりました。それでも最近では、新しい環境にもだいぶ馴染み、学生さんたちが気軽に相談してくれるようになり、とても嬉しく感じています。
また、前半に悩まされていた体調不良もかなり改善しました！ご心配をおかけしましたが、サポートしてくださった皆様、本当にありがとうございました。この場を借りて感謝申し上げます。
引き続き井澤研の皆さんのサポートをしつつ、自身の研究を進めていきたいとおもいます！
ちなみに、宮崎は日中は14-16℃くらいでとても暖かく過ごしやすいです。天気も良くて、冬の宮崎、おすすめです。
最近は、チキン南蛮を食べ歩いており、近々、宮崎チキン南蛮レポートをまとめたいと考えています！
The end of 2024 is approaching.
In April, I transferred to the University of Miyazaki.
At the same time, the lab had to move due to major renovation work, so it took me a while to adjust to the new environment.
However, I’ve finally settled in, and I’m happy to say that students now feel comfortable coming to me for advice.
Also, the health issues that troubled me earlier this year have greatly improved!
I’m truly grateful to everyone who supported me during that time — thank you so much.
I’ll continue supporting the members of the Izawa Lab while advancing my own research.
By the way, Miyazaki is still quite warm during the day, around 14–16°C, and the weather is beautiful.
If you’re looking for a winter getaway, I highly recommend Miyazaki!
