本日、ご支援を受けているWISER GAPファンドのデモデイということで社会実装に向けたピッチを行ってきました！ギリギリの戦い(ひとりの)でしたが、何とか発表まで持っていくことができました。ご支援いただいたメンターの先生、WISER事務局の皆さんありがとうございました！
そして、今年度最後の発表を終え一安心😌💭今年の活動を振り返りたいと思います。
4月に長野に戻ってきて、調子こいてたら、体調を崩し、実験環境が崩壊したりと、谷あり谷ありのなかなかハードな1年でした。

＋αで長野県きのこ試験研究機関連絡協調会議への参加や、EJEA Conference 2025 への参加、執筆依頼2件などわりとハードでした。
本業の仕事や、来年以降の仕事の関係の業務もありかなりヘロヘロ。イレギュラーが続き、自転車操業でなんとかやってきた感じです🚴
来年度はもう少し、ペースを落としたいところですが、依頼講演が2件既に決まっていまして、データを出さねばというプレッシャーが…
色んなシチュエーションで話をしましたが、なんだかしっくりきたのは、伊那谷アグリイノベーション推進機構の菌類勉強会でした🍄地域の資源循環を意識した社会実装目指してくのが性に合っているなと思いました⛰️🌳
ちなみに、安宅和人先生の「風の谷」構想にかなり影響を受けてます。来年以降の所属先のコンセプトにもマッチしてていい感じです。もちろん、基礎研究や学術的な要素は欠かせないので学会参加はマストです。
ユニコーン🦄企業目指したりといった大きなビジネスは自分に合ってないというか、方向性が違うかなと思いました。どちらにせよ、社会実装するならビジネスパートナーやコーディネーターを探さないとなぁ。といった気づきにもなり、WISERの支援を受けて良かったなと思います👀
WISER GAP ファンドの採択者の皆さんは、社会実装への解像度が高く、熱意を感じ、刺激になりました。発表の完成度も高くて凄かったなぁ～✨✨
既にあるシード(ディープTECH)を探してそれを、事業化するという方もいらっしゃったので、そういう熱意のある人と出会えるよう研究頑張ろうと思います！発明は得意だけど、ビジネスはやっぱり苦手です。アカデミックとは違う考え方や人と出会うことができとても良い機会となりました。ありがとうございました😊
まずは、長野に根を張るべく研究環境を整えていきたいと思います。

ちなみに祖父の形見のループタイと、親戚のおばちゃんの手編みのベストは好評でした。親戚アイテムを着こなして、オシャレと言われたのが今日の嬉しいハイライト！じーじのセンスはやはり良い😏✨

I finished my final presentation of this academic year.
After returning to Nagano in April, I pushed myself too hard and ended up getting sick. At one point my experimental environment also collapsed, so it was honestly a tough year with many ups and downs.

In addition, I joined the Nagano Prefecture Mushroom Research Coordination Meeting and attended EJEA Conference 2025. Overall, it was quite a busy year.
It was especially challenging because I also had my regular work and tasks related to my future position. Many unexpected things happened, and I somehow managed to keep things going.
Next year I would like to slow down a little, but I already have two invited talks scheduled, so I feel some pressure to produce new data.
I spoke in many different situations this year, but the talk that felt the most natural to me was the study meeting at the Ina Valley Agri-Innovation Promotion Organization.
I realized that working toward social implementation based on regional resource circulation really suits me. ⛰️🌳It also matches well with the concept of the institution I will join in the future.
Of course, basic research and academic work are still very important, so attending conferences will always be part of my work.👩🔬
I also realized that aiming for a “unicorn🦄” startup or a huge business is probably not my style. If I want to bring my research into society, I will need good business partners or coordinators. This was one of the valuable lessons I learned through the WISER program.
The other WISER GAP Fund awardees were very inspiring. They had strong passion and a clear vision for social implementation, and their presentations were very impressive.
Some people were looking for existing deep-tech seeds and trying to turn them into businesses. That made me think I should continue working hard on research so that I can meet passionate people like that. I’m good at inventing things, but business is still difficult for me.
Meeting people with different ways of thinking outside academia was a great experience. Thank you.
For now, I want to focus on building my research environment here in Nagano.
After taking a short break, I will keep going.
By the way, the bolo tie that belonged to my grandfather and the hand-knitted vest from my great-aunt were very popular today✌️Being told I looked stylish while wearing family items was today’s happy highlight.
My grandpa really had a great sense of style❤️
