本日は宮崎県林業技術センターに訪問し、ご挨拶をしてきました😊
It has been a month since I started my new position in April. Now that it’s May, I’ve begun working to expand the mushroom network here in Miyazaki Prefecture!
Since I don’t have a car, I’ve been getting a lot of help from the industry-academia-government collaboration manager, who kindly drives me around. 🚗
Today, I had the pleasure of visiting the Miyazaki Prefectural Forestry Technology Center to introduce myself. 😊

続いて、しいたけ問屋で有名な岡田商店さんへご挨拶に。
次回は、きのこの被り物を着用させてもらいたいです。
そして、しいたけパテをGET！ありがとうございます✨これは食レポもしなければっ。
The entrance sign at the center was absolutely charming. 🍄 I’m sure I’ll be working with them closely in the future. 🙇
After that, I visited Okada Shoten, a well-known wholesale company specializing in shiitake mushrooms, to introduce myself.
Next time, I hope they’ll let me try on one of their famous mushroom hats!
And… I was lucky enough to get my hands on some shiitake pâté! ✨ I definitely need to write a tasting review soon.

I believe that firsthand information from the field and local researchers is crucial for research and development. (serious face)
I’d be thrilled if I could gradually become part of the mushroom network here in Miyazaki Prefecture. 😊

A Little Extra
ランチの焼き肉（まからん屋さん）タンとホルモンのみというシンプルなメニューですがとっても美味しいです✨おそばもありました。そしてお財布にも優しい🫶
For lunch, I had yakiniku at Makaran-ya!
They keep it simple — just beef tongue and horumon (offal) — but it was absolutely delicious. ✨
They also serve soba noodles, and best of all, it’s very kind to your wallet. 🫶

During a break, I stopped by NEZUMIDO BASE — a charming tea shop with a lovely selection of craft goods as well. ☕
きのこ材料で何か製品化したらここにちょこっと置いてもらおうなどと妄想しました。
While I was there, I couldn’t help but daydream — maybe one day I could create something with mushroom materials and have it displayed here. Just a little something. 🍄✨
